Binny Talib is a textile and surface-pattern designer whose playful illustrations have been used for children's clothing and toys, books, album covers and greeting cards. She studied Visual Communications and has worked as creative art director for a digital media agency.

Margaret Winifred Tarrant (1888-1959) initially sought to make her career as an art teacher, but, doubting her teaching abilities, she became a full-timewatercolour painter and illustrator specialising in children's books. In 1908 she was commissioned to illustrate Charles Kingsley's The Water Babies; following this first success she went on to illustrate over twenty books for Harrap. Julia Trevelyan Oman was one of the great film, theatre and television designers of the 20th century. Among the many honours she received during her lifetime were the CBE and an honorary doctorate from the University of Bristol. She was married to the historian and garden writer Sir Roy Strong. She died in 2003.
