Wendy Meddour
Wendy Meddour has been lecturing and teaching at Oxford University for the last eight years, but is now writing full-time, as well as painting and illustrating. Her debut novel, A Hen in the Wardrobe, the first title in the Cinnamon Grove series, has already garnered critical success, winning the John C Laurence Award for writing that improves relations between races, taking first place in the Islamic Foundation's International Writing Competition, and being shortlisted for the Muslim Writer's Award 2011. Wendy lives in Wiltshire, with her Algerian mathematician husband and four children.
