Nick Garbutt
Nick Garbutt is an award-winning wildlife photographer and natural history writer and illustrator. After graduating with an Honours degree in zoology from the University of Nottingham, he forged a career primarily as a wildlife photographer and author, combining this with leading tours, lecturing and illustration.
He has written numerous natural history books including the acclaimed Mammals of Madagascar: A Complete Guide, 100 Animals to See Before They Die and the Bradt Travel Guide Madagascar Wildlife. He regularly contributes articles and photographs to a wide range of magazines, such as National Geographic and BBC Wildlife, and has had several winning and commended images in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
Nick’s travels have taken him all over the world, including extensive tours of Madagascar. He is now based in Cumbria, UK.
