Steven Jones

The cover illustration for Great Expectations is by acclaimed milliner Steven Jones OBE, whose work was recently featured at the Victoria & Albert Museum, attracting 100,000 visitors. Last year he designed for the collections of Cristian Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs and John Galliano. He has also created hats for films by Steven Spielberg and for Audrey Tatou in last year's 'Coco before Chanel'. For Great Expectations, his special knowledge of fashion history informs a wonderful sketch of Pip's journey from a poor child's cap to a gentleman's finery, reproduced on White's printed cloth covers.
