Max Crisfield started his career as a part-time editorial assistant at Chivers Press in Bath and moved on to be Marketing Manager at Book Guild Publishing in Lewes, West Sussex. After a few years each as PR & Marketing Executive at Penguin Books in London and Marketing Manager of the Brighton Festival Society, he became a freelance copywriter for a range of clients as well as doing arts marketing services. He lives and works in Brighton.
