The Dog Who Dumped on my Doona

Marcus wakes one night to find an ugly, dirty, smelly white dog sitting on his bed. What's more, it can speak - and it has some serious attitude. Blacky the dog has a mission for Marcus, to help save a species from extinction. But first Marcus needs to escape the clutches of his evil sister Rose, enlist the help of his unpredictable friend Dylan, and come up with the $260 he needs to rescue God - a sick pygmy bearded dragon - from the local pet shop.

Is Marcus up to the challenge? Blacky doesn't think so. But if being one of the only people in the world with the ability to communicate with animals, he doesn't have much choice.
