Night of the Fifth Moon

At the age of 7, Cet watches his warrior father being shamefully defeated in battle and forced to surrender to a Druid. Cet has a disfiguring birthmark which makes him ineligible to be king, so when the young people of his village are sent out for training, Cet chooses a life of physical hardship in the forest. He's desperate to master the power of the Druids. Six other children make the same choice, but only one will be selected as the Druid's apprentice. Who will survive the rigours of this life, and the tests that confront them?
