Hudson is good at a lot of things, but spelling isn't one of them. In fact, having to do spelling tests is one of the many things he HATES about school. After another horrible day Hudson declares he will never go back to school. But one final very different test helps Hudson understand why he is special... and how he can learn to learn!
ELLA HUDSON grew up in Cornwall and has always loved drawing. She graduated from University College Falmouth with a degree in illustration and has worked on various magazines. This is her first book. Ella lives in Penzance, Cornwall, where she works as a teacher.
It was Friday morning and Hudson remembered why he had especially NOT wanted to go to school that day . . . "Spelling test today, Hudson." Hudson had not learnt his spellings. Miss French read out the words and Hudson felt his heart sink. The other children at his desk started to snigger. Next they had to swap books and mark each other’s spellings. This was what Hudson had been dreading most of all.
