Piet Grobler
PIET GROBLER grew up on a farm in Limpopo, South Africa. After working as a church minister, he made a career in illustration and now lectures at the University of Worcester. His awards include a Golden Apple at the Biennale for Illustration, Bratislava, the Octogone de Chêne, the Primo Alpi Apuane, the Noma Concours, the Alberto Burnichon Prize, the IBBY Honour List and severalSouth African awards. His Frances Lincoln books include Beverley Naidoo’s The Great Tug of War and Katharine Quarmby’s Fussy Freya. Piet lives in Great Malvern with his wife and daughter.
